Learn to putt like the pros - quickly and effectively!

With the BirdiePod PRO, we have developed a device that makes putting practice interesting and versatile, helping to train and improve the crucial requirements for perfect putting, such as setup and alignment, directional control and improvement, and speed control and stroke improvement.

You can conveniently train at home with the BirdiePod PRO (suitable for any putting mat) or outdoors on the practice green of your golf course.

To train all aspects, two alignment sticks and the integrated Putt Aligner (putting line rod with the reference ball) are available for alignment control and setup assistance, as well as 2 adjustable gates: the adjustable "Putter Gate" for impact control and the adjustable "Ball Gate" (putting line gate) for directional control.

In addition to essential setup control (eye position) with the ingenious Putt Aligner (putting line rod with the reference ball), you will learn to align your feet, shoulders, and eye line parallel to the alignment sticks and the putting line rod. These are the basics of good putting technique.

Furthermore, the "Tee Gate Drill" is perhaps the most important putting training exercise for Tour Pros.

It became world-famous because the most famous golfer in the world, with his 15 Major wins, regularly trained with this exercise from a young age.

As one of the world's best putters, he learned to control the putter head with the "Tee Gate Drill," bringing it square and central to the ball so that it swings through the Putter Gate and the ball starts on the putting line through the Putt Line Gate.

Only good amateur golfers take the time to set up a "Tee Gate." It is cumbersome to place the 4 tees in precisely the right position to the hole, and you are then fixated on that one hole. Not every amateur golfer has their own caddy like the Tour Pros to do this for them!

With the BirdiePod PRO, we have now developed a compact "Tee Gate Drill" training device that can be set up in a few simple steps and in seconds, combining both gates (Putter Gate and Ball Gate) in one device - always in the correct relative position to each other and aligned as a single unit to the hole - and adjustable according to skill level.

It doesn't get simpler, faster, or more versatile - especially for beginners and high handicappers!

The integrated Putt Aligner (putting line rod with the reference ball) can also be used separately as a quick check device before a tournament to verify setup and alignment, so you can go into the round with confidence.

The BirdiePod PRO is handcrafted in Germany from high-quality materials (aluminum, hard EVA, reliable connectors, etc.) and comes with assembly instructions and detailed functional instructions.

The putting line rod as an alignment aid
The BirdiePod PRO easily helps you align yourself so that your feet, hips, shoulders, and eye line are parallel to the putting line rod, and one eye (usually the left one) looks vertically down on the ball, with the putter head positioned centrally and square behind the ball.

The ingenious reference ball function
The position of the eyes in relation to the ball and the putting line is crucial for the result of your putting.

1. If your eyes are directly over the ball and your eye line is towards the putting line, you have the correct distance to the ball, a balanced address position, and the best chance that your putter will make contact with the ball centrally and squarely at impact.

2. Ideally, your left eye should be directly over the ball if you are a right-handed player. This also helps you consistently maintain the same distance from the ball.

3. Perhaps the biggest problem in putting is that we golfers tend to move our heads to the right during the backswing and then back to the left towards the target during the through-swing. If we rock back and forth, we will rarely make contact with the ball centrally and squarely at impact, which will consequently cause the ball to not roll on the putting line but instead pass the hole to the left or right.

The Birdie Pod trains you out of that!

4. Throughout the entire stroke, ensure that your left eye remains directly over the reference ball and that your actual ball is not visible (it should only emerge from the "shadow" of the reference ball after impact).

Therefore, your eye should always only see the reference ball!

Practice this consistently and as often as possible - your putting will improve quickly and sustainably.

The adjustable "Putter Gate" for directional control
If your putter does not strike the ball centrally at impact (i.e., it leaves the ideal swing path), it will touch one of the Putter Gate restrictors at impact, and the ball will not start on the putting line.

Learn to hit the ball centrally.

The adjustable "Ball Gate" (putting line gate) for directional control
If your putter does not strike the ball square at impact, the BirdiePod PRO immediately indicates it thanks to the putting line gate – your ball will leave the target line and will not pass through the gate unobstructed.

Learn to hit the ball squarely.
